Zapaygo

Designing, building and launching a new mobile payment app.

Introduction.

Launching a new app into a competitive market requires a strategic, innovative, and cohesive approach to the design, build and marketing. Zapaygo is a lifestyle app that allows users to pay for services and pre-order and pre-pay for services or goods to be delivered or collected. It operates within the hospitality, sports, and leisure market. Zapaygo tasked the De Bono Marketing expert partner team with launching the app because of our unique technical ability to work across app development and website build, while delivering exceptional creative ideas for marketing and promoting Zapaygo to investors and end consumers.

Challenge.

Zapaygo needed the development of their app and website to be done hand-in-hand, at the same time as crafting a launch plan to maximise this unique opportunity to make a good first impression on stakeholders and potential customers.

As a partner, we were in a position to bring the right experts to the team to ensure both key threads of the project could work simultaneously and cohesively.

Our team combined technical expertise with strategic insight to deliver this launch:

1. UX/CX:

The first stage of development was UX/CX conducted by our team of specialists to design the app, backed up by industry research, data, and insight. A crucial part of this stage was conducting user testing with a hi-fi prototype to ensure the design worked as expected before the build began.

2. Development:

Once UX/CX had been concluded, our experienced development team worked on the app development, hitting the ground running for a quick turnaround.

3. Launch Marketing:

On completion of the app, our De Bono Marketing expert team worked closely with the Zapaygo team, partnering with MSL to integrate into global EPOS systems and integration points to support the implementation process.

Websites were designed specifically for investors and consumers, driving investment and uptake of the new payment app. An ICO website was also created to support the ambitions of Zapaygo to turn their app into a mobile banking platform and cryptocurrency payments platform.
